Creative Marketing Coordinator

Closing Date: 23 August 2019

We’re expanding our creative marketing team and so we are looking for a passionate and innovative individual to join us.


The role will involve but is not limited to:

  • Arranging and updating New Product Brochures and Videos
  •  Identifying strong bullet points for new products and patented features to highlight on POS
  • Arranging Product Presentation Sheets, including image, bullet points etc
  • Range & category naming
  • Co-ordinating decisions on product POS – hangtags and front panel displays and briefing accordingly
  • End consumer advertising for retailers (e.g. magazines, social media, online, etc.)
  • Updating and management of images, text & banners for company website
  • Marketing/catalogue briefs and approvals for retailers (Argos, etc) and external agencies
  • Designing and maintaining social media platforms
  • Communicating with bloggers, celebrity management team and other marketing/advertising requests
  • Briefing and approving of product photography from our China Office Studio

Global Showrooms (UK, USA, China) & Exhibitions

  • Maintaining, updating and re-ordering samples and new colours
  • Arranging Displays and POS
  • Update manual for general rules and POS
  • Managing our global exhibitions including display methods, stand design and POS on stand
  • Stand bookings
  • Samples and product POS ordering, layout planning & displaying
  • Hotel bookings, adverts and invites

Other General Tasks

  • Producing taster catalogues showing the variety of products we sell
  • Managing and promoting Company Profile
  • Managing trade advertising
  • Retail display – picture boxes, sleeves, display merchandising briefs
  • New & existing brand updates

You will need to have:

  • Ambition, creativity and an innovative & forward-thinking approach to your work with a passion for product
  • A design / marketing degree or equivalent experience 
  • Ability to write marketing and promotional briefs
  • Competent in briefing agencies and other departments
  • Ability to monitor a campaign's progress
  • Experience of compiling & implementing marketing strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with energy, creativity and enthusiasm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and strong knowledge of photoshop
  • The ability to work autonomously and with initiative, in a fast-paced environment
  • The skillset to work on multiple projects and the ability to prioritise
  • Ability to travel up to a maximum of 5% of the time, including internationally



International Sales Manager (Scandinavia)
Closing Date: 23 August 2019

The primary focus of the role is to develop the business in the respective region and manage key accounts and in brief, involves:

  • Developing and implementing a sales strategy to grow key accounts
  • Developing and implementing a sales strategy for new accounts and increasing market share in the respective region
  • Driving KPIs and sales performance improvement
  • Introducing Range and Promotional merchandise 
  • Managing the customer selection critical path and end-to-end product delivery schedules
  • Meeting customers across the respective region

We are looking for a candidate who is based in the respective region and to be considered you must:

  • proven track record in dealing with major national accounts in the respective region and delivering an effective sales strategy
  • Experience in account development and management with well-known high street retailers
  • Experience selling FOB China and ex UK warehouse and recommending optimal route to market
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and results orientated
  • Resilient and willing to persevere in challenging environments to secure business to meet the company’s growth ambitions
  • Ability to travel throughout the respective region and neighbouring countries and to the UK Head Office
  • Solid networker and highly skilled influencer

Buying Administrator
Closing Date: 23 August 2019

The role is to join the Buying Department, with lots of opportunity to grow with it. With training, development and guidance, we will help you progress within our team. This role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Checking, preparing and processing customer orders
  • Manage emails proficiently, communicating with our colleagues in China, Hong Kong, USA & UK
  • Ordering and monitoring customer samples
  • Checking suppliers’ invoices to ensure prices are correct
  • General Administration Duties within the office
  • Potential opportunities to travel to the Far East

You will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Hard working ethic
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • A logical and common-sense approach
  • Excellent computer skills, in particular Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Buying / Negotiator

Closing Date: 23 August 2019

This role will have responsibility for the day to day buying requirements within a specified luggage category of the Buying Department. The role involes, but is not limited to:

  • Receiving order confirmations from Sales Admin team
  • Delivering a negotiation strategy to be sent by email to colleagues in China office; Based on e.g. order type, order quantity, product components, customer
  • Liaising with China colleagues to reach agreement on preferred commercial terms
  • Implementing costs savings and minimising price increases
  • Preparing, checking and raising detailed purchase orders and documentation within required timeframes and often to tight deadlines
  • Building and managing relationships with suppliers
  • Reviewing supplier’s performance through relevant KPIs
  • Checking supplier invoices when required
  • Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Maintaining the highest accuracy of all documentation at all times
  • Building and maintaining a record of data on prices for future reference

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven successful track record within a buying/product environment
  • Exceptional negotiation and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated, with a positive flexible approach and outlook
  • Ability to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team
  • Highly organised, methodical with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys new challenges
  • Ability to attend foreign trips for up to 2 weeks, twice per annum if required
  • High grade GCSE/A-level maths essential
  • Possess excellent PC skills – proficiency in Excel and Outlook are essential
  • CIPS qualified or part qualified preferred
  • Previous experience with Far East Supply chain would be an advantage
